Terms of service
Last updated: 19 October 2026
These terms apply when you use cozysofas.co.uk and when you buy from us. Please read them before ordering. They don't affect your legal rights as a consumer.
1. About us
Cozy Sofas is a sole trader business based at 353 High Street North, London E12 6PQ, United Kingdom.
You can contact us by email at azharbgirl@gmail.com.
2. Our products
- We show our furniture as accurately as we can. Colours can look different on different screens, and natural materials vary, so your piece may differ slightly from the photos.
- Dimensions are given on each product page. Handmade furniture may vary slightly from these measurements.
- Furniture that is made to order is made after you place your order.
3. Placing an order
When you place an order, we'll email you to say we've received it. Our contract with you starts when we email you to confirm we've accepted your order.
We may not accept your order, for example if an item is unavailable, if there's a mistake in the price or description, or if you're outside our delivery area. If that happens, we'll tell you and refund anything you've paid.
You must be 18 or over to place an order.
4. Prices and payment
- Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is added.
- Delivery to the UK mainland is free.
- We take payment when you place your order.
- If we find that a price was wrong after you've ordered, we'll contact you. You can then confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.
5. Delivery
Our delivery policy explains where we deliver, how long it takes and how we book your delivery. Your furniture becomes your responsibility once it's delivered, and your property once we've received full payment.
6. Changing your mind
You can cancel within 14 days of delivery. Our returns and refund policy explains how, including which items can't be cancelled and who pays for returns.
7. If something is wrong
By law, our furniture must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it isn't, you're entitled to a repair, a replacement or a refund, depending on the problem and when it appears. Our returns and refund policy explains your rights in full.
8. Our responsibility to you
If we break these terms, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that was a foreseeable result of our breach. We're not responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for business losses, because our products are for household use.
Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where it would be unlawful to do so. That includes death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, and your legal rights as a consumer.
9. Events outside our control
We're not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, strikes or supplier failures. If this happens, we'll tell you and do what we can to reduce the delay. If the delay is long, you can cancel for a refund of anything you've paid for items you haven't received.
10. Using our website
- We try to keep our website accurate and available, but we can't promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.
- The text, photos and designs on our website belong to us or our licensors. Please don't copy them without our permission.
- Please don't misuse our website, for example by trying to access it without permission or by introducing harmful code.
- Links to other websites are for your information only. We're not responsible for their content.
11. Your personal information
We use your personal information as set out in our privacy policy.
12. Other important terms
- We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one shown when you placed it.
- If a court decides that part of these terms is invalid, the rest still applies.
- If we don't enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- Only you and we have rights under this contract.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland, you can bring them in the Scottish or English courts.
If you have a complaint, please contact us first. We'll do our best to resolve it quickly.
